What's in the box

One 35 ml tube of GC MI Paste Plus in the flavour you choose. Used once a day, a tube typically lasts several weeks.

How to use

After brushing, put a pea-sized amount on a clean finger or cotton bud and spread it over all upper and lower tooth surfaces. Leave it for 3 minutes, then move it around your mouth with your tongue for another 1 to 2 minutes. Spit out the excess and do not rinse. Avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes.

Ingredients

RECALDENT (CPP-ACP, a milk-derived casein phosphopeptide with amorphous calcium phosphate) and 900 ppm fluoride. Sugar-free, water-based cream.

Who should not use it

Anyone with a confirmed milk protein allergy or a suspected sensitivity to benzoate additives. Not for children under 6. MI Paste Plus is not a toothpaste and does not replace brushing. Ask your dentist before starting.

How to measure

  1. Stand in front of a mirror with a ruler.
  2. Relax your face and keep your lips closed, no smile.
  3. Measure from one corner of your mouth to the other.

The ranges overlap because faces differ and so does the tension people like. Unsure? Send us your measurement and we will tell you which size to order.

How it works

Minerals delivered to the tooth, not rinsed away

Enamel loses minerals every time the mouth turns acidic, after food, drink or plaque. RECALDENT carries calcium and phosphate in a form the tooth can take up, and the added fluoride helps lock them in. The cream stays on the teeth, so the exchange keeps happening after you put the tube away.

  • Remineralises early enamel damage

Calcium and phosphate are released where the enamel has started to soften.

  • Fluoride that works with the minerals

900 ppm fluoride, the same order as a daily toothpaste, strengthens the repaired surface.

  • Calmer teeth around treatments

Often used before and after whitening and professional cleanings to ease sensitivity.

  • Made for daily use at home

A topical cream, not a toothpaste. Applied once a day after brushing, as your dentist advises.

How to use

Three minutes, once a day

  1. 1Brush first

Brush and floss as usual. Put a pea-sized amount of cream on a clean finger or cotton bud.

  2. 2Spread and wait

Cover all upper and lower tooth surfaces and leave it for 3 minutes.

  3. 3Spit, don't rinse

Swish with your tongue for 1 to 2 minutes, spit out the excess and don't rinse. No food or drink for 30 minutes.

Good to know

  • Evening is the easiest time, so the cream works while you sleep.
  • With braces, use floss or an interdental brush to reach around the brackets.
  • If your dentist gave you trays, you can apply it in the tray instead.
  • Do not swallow large amounts. A little residue is fine.

Plus or Tooth Mousse?

Two creams, one difference

Both are built on RECALDENT. MI Paste Plus adds fluoride, which makes it the stronger option for adults and children over 6. Tooth Mousse is fluoride-free, so it is the one for younger children and anyone avoiding fluoride.

Where it comes from

Made by GC, a dental manufacturer since 1921

Questions

Before you order

Is MI Paste Plus a toothpaste?

No. It is a topical cream you apply after brushing and leave on the teeth. Keep brushing with your normal toothpaste.

MI Paste Plus or Tooth Mousse?

MI Paste Plus has 900 ppm fluoride and is for ages 6 and over. Tooth Mousse is fluoride-free and suits all ages, including young children. If your dentist recommended one of them, go with that.

Can children use it?

From age 6, with an adult applying it. For younger children choose Tooth Mousse, which has no fluoride.

I am allergic to milk. Can I use it?

No. RECALDENT is derived from milk protein, so MI Paste Plus is not suitable for people with a milk protein allergy. It is also not recommended if you are sensitive to benzoate preservatives. Lactose intolerance is a different thing, but check with your dentist if unsure.

When should I use it?

Once a day after brushing, or as your dentist advises. Many people use it at night. Around whitening or a professional cleaning, start a few days before and continue after to reduce sensitivity.

Can I use it with braces or aligners?

Yes. It is often recommended during orthodontic treatment to protect against white spots. With aligners, your dentist may suggest applying it inside the aligner.

Which flavour should I pick?

All five have the same formula. Mint is the most neutral; Melon, Strawberry, Vanilla and Tutti Frutti are milder and popular with children and with people who dislike strong mint.
