What's in the box
One 35 ml tube of GC Tooth Mousse in the flavour you choose. Used once a day, a tube typically lasts several weeks.
How to use
After brushing, put a pea-sized amount on a clean finger or cotton bud and spread it over all upper and lower tooth surfaces. Leave it for 3 minutes, then move it around your mouth with your tongue for another 1 to 2 minutes. Spit out the excess and do not rinse. Avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes.
Ingredients
RECALDENT (CPP-ACP, a milk-derived casein phosphopeptide with amorphous calcium phosphate). Fluoride-free, sugar-free, water-based cream.
Who should not use it
Anyone with a confirmed milk protein allergy or a suspected sensitivity to benzoate additives. Tooth Mousse is not a toothpaste and does not replace brushing. Ask your dentist before starting.
How it works
Minerals delivered to the tooth, not rinsed away
Enamel loses minerals every time the mouth turns acidic, after food, drink or plaque. RECALDENT carries calcium and phosphate in a form the tooth can take up, and the cream stays on the teeth, so the exchange keeps happening after you put the tube away.
-
Remineralises early enamel damage
Calcium and phosphate are released where the enamel has started to soften.
-
No fluoride
The choice for children under 6 and for anyone who prefers to keep fluoride out of their routine.
-
Calmer teeth around treatments
Often used before and after whitening and professional cleanings to ease sensitivity.
-
Made for daily use at home
A topical cream, not a toothpaste. Applied once a day after brushing, as your dentist advises.
How to use
Three minutes, once a day
1Brush first
Brush and floss as usual. Put a pea-sized amount of cream on a clean finger or cotton bud.
2Spread and wait
Cover all upper and lower tooth surfaces and leave it for 3 minutes.
3Spit, don't rinse
Swish with your tongue for 1 to 2 minutes, spit out the excess and don't rinse. No food or drink for 30 minutes.
Good to know
- Evening is the easiest time, so the cream works while you sleep.
- For small children, an adult applies it with a finger or cotton bud.
- With braces, use floss or an interdental brush to reach around the brackets.
- Do not swallow large amounts. A little residue is fine.
Tooth Mousse or Plus?
Two creams, one difference
Both are built on RECALDENT. Tooth Mousse is fluoride-free, so it suits all ages. MI Paste Plus adds 900 ppm fluoride for adults and children over 6 who want the stronger option.
Where it comes from
Made by GC, a dental manufacturer since 1921
GC is a Japanese dental company founded in Tokyo in 1921 and supplies dentists worldwide. RECALDENT, the CPP-ACP ingredient in Tooth Mousse, was developed at the University of Melbourne and has been studied for decades. These are the same tubes dentists hand out in the clinic.

Questions
Before you order
Is Tooth Mousse a toothpaste?
No. It is a topical cream you apply after brushing and leave on the teeth. Keep brushing with your normal toothpaste.
Tooth Mousse or MI Paste Plus?
Tooth Mousse is fluoride-free and suits all ages, including young children. MI Paste Plus has 900 ppm fluoride and is for ages 6 and over. If your dentist recommended one of them, go with that.
Can young children use it?
Yes. Tooth Mousse has no fluoride, so it is the one usually chosen for children under 6. An adult should apply it and the child should spit out the excess rather than swallow it.
I am allergic to milk. Can I use it?
No. RECALDENT is derived from milk protein, so Tooth Mousse is not suitable for people with a milk protein allergy. It is also not recommended if you are sensitive to benzoate preservatives. Lactose intolerance is a different thing, but check with your dentist if unsure.
When should I use it?
Once a day after brushing, or as your dentist advises. Many people use it at night. Around whitening or a professional cleaning, start a few days before and continue after to reduce sensitivity.
Can I use it with braces or aligners?
Yes. It is often recommended during orthodontic treatment to protect against white spots. With aligners, your dentist may suggest applying it inside the aligner.
Which flavour should I pick?
All five have the same formula. Mint is the most neutral; Melon, Strawberry, Vanilla and Tutti Frutti are milder and popular with children and with people who dislike strong mint.
